On Monday (11), the Municipality of Belo Horizonte begins administering the booster dose of the two-dose vaccine against Covid-19 to the public aged 60 years and older and to immunocompromised persons, aged 12 years or older, who have received the last dose. per hour for at least six months. “Vaccination remains the best way to prevent COVID-19. The vaccine is safe and necessary to reduce hospitalizations and deaths. Stocks are being stored so that the population can strengthen protection against the disease,” noted Undersecretary for Health Promotion and Surveillance, Fabiano dos Anjos.

For the invited public to receive the vaccine, it is important that the person has not had COVID-19 with symptoms within the past 30 days. It is also necessary to present a photo identification document and vaccination card so that vaccination status can be assessed before doses are administered.
