The Senate special committee has been explaining illegal surveillance cases using Pegasus since mid-January. His appointment is the result of the findings of the Citizen Lab team at the University of Toronto. He said he was being monitored by lawyer Roman Giertych, lawyer Ewa Wrzosek and KO senator Krzysztof Brejza using Pegasus software developed by the Israeli company NSO Group.

The work of the Senate committee began two weeks ago. Among the senators, experts from the Canadian Citizens’ Lab team listened to former NIK chairman Christoph Kwiatkovsky, current chamber chairman Marion Banas, senator Christophe Breza and patron Roman Kierdich. The Senate committee has no jurisdiction to investigate.
