sul-africana start-up fractal Submit your yesterday (17) eVTOL MicrobesThe model features a very unique construction, which seeks to be inspired by the landing and take-off of birds. On its website, the company clarifies some of the main points of its model, but also raises suspicions that the project is a joke. But in any case, it is interesting to take a look at the concept of the aircraft.
Unlike all eVTOL versions presented so far, the . file fructyl microbes It draws attention to the presence of “legs and feet” to perform take-offs and landings. This along with Wings and body can change from horizontal to vertical direction, allow the model to take off almost vertically, as it only needs a little forward movement just for speed.
Because of this structure designed to fly vertically, the model looks a lot like a bird, but this design brings many advantages to the model. according to fractal, the Macrobat has minimal rolling motion compared to other non-eVTOL vehicles due to improved aerodynamics.

“As a result of the pivot wing design (pun intended), the aptly named Electric Semi-Vertical Takeoff and Landing (eNVTOL) delivers enviable performance, even over rough terrain.”
– Phractyl claimed.
The startup claims to be new The aircraft is capable of reaching a maximum speed of 180 km/h with a payload of up to 150 kg, with the model designed to carry only one passenger and Enjoy 150 km autonomy. The manufacturer states that it can be flown by a person on an eVTOL, by a remote pilot with a passenger, or even used as a cargo drone.
