The rumors that have been circulating for weeks this week have been confirmed. Pedro Teixeira, 42, and Sara Matos, 33, have ended their nine-year relationship. The split was confirmed by both actors, who left a statement on their Instagram accounts.
“The past few years have been a journey of love, of companionship, of complicity, of sharing. A journey in which Manuel was the result of our love. Sarah and I decided, at this moment, to live our lives separately, knowing that we would. Always be together, in the good we want each other but, Basically, in our son’s life.”reads the respective statement.
The breakup, as you might expect, has spawned conversations about various social commentary programs. Cinha Jardim, for example, revealed that he had “heard some things” before the information was made public, while in the program “Passadeira Vermelha”, by SIC, he considered that this was a project that “failed for both”.
Jointly, Pedro and Sara are the parents of little Manuel, who is only one year old. The actor, in turn, is also the father of Maria, 13, as a result of his previous relationship with Claudia Vieira.
