PlayStation Portal arrives in November

Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced the release date of PlayStation Portal, a remote console for anyone who wants to free up their main TV and continue playing PlayStation 5.

And as the company revealed, you can now book your unit through Playstation live And start waiting for launch on November 15, 2023. Sony also knows that from September 29, it will be possible to pre-order PlayStation Porta at select retailers.

Portugal was one of the first countries selected for PlayStation Portal reservations and Sony describes the device as follows:

The PlayStation Portal remote player gives you access to games installed on your PS5 console via your home Wi-Fi network, allowing you to jump into games on a stunning 8” LCD screen in 1080p at 60fps, without the need for a TV. .

Portal can be used on another Wi-Fi network outside the home, but Sony advises that “for the best gaming experience, a high-speed connection of at least 15 Mbps is recommended”.

If you want to use PlayStation Portal away from home, please note that “the PS5 console must be connected to broadband internet, fully operational or in sleep mode, and must be paired with the remote player’s PlayStation Portal.”
