Pokémon Go 2022 New Year Event brings tons of costumed Pokémon, continues the legacy season story

Annual pokemon go The New Year’s event is set to run again from December 31 to January 4, in line with the previous year’s theme of adding a new variant of the Slowpoke Evolution series and adding another legacy season element to players around the world.

Not only will there be new content, exclusive in-game rewards and event-specific avatars, but players can also enjoy in-game fireworks from 11:00pm local time on December 31 until 12:00pm on January 2nd local time.

For Heritage season, Team Instinct leader Spark takes over in January, throwing a party after a special gift exchange. This will attract nearby Pokémon to join the celebration, including a handful of costumed Pokémon.

Here’s a full list of costumed Pokemon that will appear during the 2022 New Year’s event, and if you can get their hands on their shiny variants.

This costumed Pokemon will appear in the jungle, raid and hatch eggs for a distance of 7 km.

In addition to Pokemon outfits and events, players will fold Stardust and Candy to hatch eggs, and the Egg Hatch distance has been halved during the event. New timed surveys will also be available to complete for additional rewards and encounters.
