FC Porto and Roma spent Monday in talks to agree the transfer of Sergio Oliveira, typically, as made by More, Loan with option to purchase. At this point, there are still details to work on, especially regarding the purchase option.
As it was possible to know, FC Porto is trying to bring the transfer to 18 or 20 million euros, including loan fees, purchase option and goal bonuses.
Meanwhile, Sergio Oliveira is still in Portugal, awaiting permission to travel. On Monday, the player was at Olival, where he trained with his teammates and admitted he was leaving FC Porto, as it is only a matter of time before the change closes.
If all goes as expected by all three parties, Sergio Oliveira should travel to Rome this Tuesday, but it is not yet certain he will. It all depends on getting the missing details right.
It should be noted that at the beginning of the season Sergio Oliveira was about to leave for Italian football, at that time to Fiorentina, but the departure of coach Gattuso ended in frustrating negotiations. At the age of 29, the midfielder, who is one of the team captains, has a valid contract with FC Porto until 2025.
