The activities are carried out in the Laboratory of Multitrophic Interactions and Biodiversity of the Institute of Biology of the State University of Campinas (IB-Unicamp) and address human impacts on forest ecosystems using experimental freshwater microcosms on a global scale, using a standardized protocol.

The postdoctoral position is aimed at researchers with strong training in ecological theory and experience and knowledge in the analysis of (macro)ecological communities, including alpha and beta functional and taxonomic diversity, as well as in statistical analyzes of experimental data. Candidates must have a PhD in the scientific field relevant to the project.

Candidates for the TT-4A position must master tools that allow them to collect, organize, visualize, organize, analyze, share and make environmental data available. Other requirements are: knowledge of the nature of environmental data; Proficiency in R and Python; Experience in dealing with SQL. Tidyverse mastery of data organization and manipulation; Experience in dealing with large databases; He lives in Campinas.

This postdoctoral opportunity is open to Brazilians and foreigners. The selected candidate will receive a FAPESP postdoctoral scholarship worth R$ 9,047.40 per month and a technical reserve equivalent to 10% of the annual value of the scholarship to cover unforeseen expenses directly related to the research activity.

The TT-4A vacancy costs R$ 6,242.40 per month. This FAPESP scholarship is aimed at IT professionals with at least four years of post-graduate experience, who do not have a work relationship and can devote 16 to 40 hours per week to activities supporting the research project.
