After Rainbow Six Quarantine and Rainbow Six Parasite, Ubisoft has decided to give the name Rainbow Six Extraction to the new PvE shooter that it has developed.
To whet fans’ appetites ahead of the conference scheduled for E3 2021, game producer Antoine Vimal de Montiel, has revealed the name of the new game, along with a video clip showing its main opponent – a mysterious parasite that’s far from contained.
Ubisoft also revealed that the game has grown exponentially since the beginning of its development and that it takes the foundations of Rainbow Six Siege to create a “modern tactical shooter where players will face an ever-evolving alien threat.”
Rainbow Six Siege was announced at E3 2019, with its release planned for 2020. However, the COVID-19 pandemic has affected its development, and it has forced a delay. Since then, a leak has revealed some gameplay details, such as some playable characters, that Parasite players will have to defeat.
It is very likely that more information about Rainbow Six Extraction will be announced at Ubisoft Forward, scheduled for June 12, at 8pm in mainland Portugal.
