Real Madrid won the Spanish Super Cup

BReal Madrid won the first title of the 2022 Super Cup in the desert. The Royals beat defending champions Athletic Bilbao 2-0 (1-0) in the final on Sunday in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Croatia’s superstar Luka Modric (38th) and goalkeeper Karim Benzema scored from the penalty spot (52nd) for the team, led by former world champion Tony Cruz.
