Rocket League Season 4 comes with 120 FPS and demos for PlayStation players

Once in the Rocket League, starting today August 18 and available through January 3, PlayStation players will receive a completely free bundle, based on Ratchet & Clank, which includes Octane’s Ratchet & Clank Punk Sticker, Negatron Collider Boost, Balloon Clank Topper and Ratchet Balloon Topper .

Also starting today, you can enjoy Rocket League on PlayStation 5 at 120fps. A new “Video Quality” setting will be added to the video settings menu, allowing players to select quality or performance modes.

Thus, the quality mode offers 4K resolution at 60 frames per second with HDR. For HDR, this requires an HDR10 compatible display and an HDMI 2.0 or higher cable. Also, a 4K compatible monitor is required for the 4K experience. If you are using a 1080p screen, the game will be converted to 1080p with 4K Ultra HD sampling

In performance mode, the game will run at 2688 x 1512 resolution, which is 70% of 4K resolution, but at 120 frames per second with HDR. The interface for the game will be 4K, and if you use a 1080p screen, the game will be displayed in 1080p for an ultra-high-resolution sampling of 2688 x 1512. As usual, HDR and 120fps require a compatible monitor, as well as a very high-speed HDMI 2.1 port cable.
