Players undergo medical examinations and physical tests
Sporting started the 2023/24 pre-season this Sunday with the usual medical and physical tests, but still without announcing any reinforcements and with many doubts about the team that will be of service to Ruben Amorim. The coach was the first to arrive at the Academia de Alcochete, at 7:15 am according to Sport TV. Young Joao Muniz and Afonso Moreira I also performed at the service, as shown in the photos that the club posted on social networks. Ugarte (leaving for PSG) and Morita (still on vacation) did not show up for the service.
In the afternoon, there will be training behind closed doors.
After two weeks of work in Alcochete, Sporting continues his training in the Algarve, as has been the norm in recent years, where he will stay between July 15th and 26th, in Lagos. The first test will take place precisely in the Algarve region, on the 19th, against Genk, at the Algarve stadium, followed by a duel with Real Sociedad, on the 25th, at the same venue.
