The Russian yacht Axioma is set to be auctioned after its sanctioned Russian owner Dmitrievich Pompiansky defaulted on his loan.

The mega yacht was already confiscated in March of this year in Gibraltar after allegations from US bank JP Morgan that Bombiansky had not repaid his loan, which is supposed to amount to $ 20 million.
The yacht is scheduled to be auctioned on Tuesday next week, as the yacht is expected to sell for less than its appraised value.
It is the first yacht seized for auction as a result of the Russian owner’s exposure to Western sanctions.
The Pumpyansky boat has a height of 72.5 meters and contains, among other things, twelve berths, a swimming pool, a spa and a 3D cinema.
In addition to his role as Pumpyansky’s private boat, he was involved in renting a tidy sum of £465,000 per week.
The owner of the boat is the owner of the steel production company OAO TMK, which supplies, among other things, the Russian state-owned energy company Gazprom. His fortune is 1.84 billion pounds, according to the BBC.
Sanctions against him come from the United Kingdom, the European Union and the United States.
