Samsung was one of the last companies to launch a PCI-Express 4.0 SSD (Solid State Disk), the Samsung 980 PRO. The equipment arrived in August 2020, but now there is news. The brand will soon release its version of this disc with an aluminum heatsink.

The original model only had a label on the memory chips. This solution is not ideal for a high-performance d-drive like the Samsung 980 PRO, especially since they are not cheap discs.

according to Information, the South Korean brand has now decided to release this version with the heatsink to be used as a compatible equipment for the PlayStation 5 console. In contrast, in the minimum external installation requirements for an SSD hard drive, Sony recommends that the installed storage include a sink heater to avoid problems temperature.
