On 27 December, the Minister of Science, Technology and Higher Education, Elvira Fortunado, visited several projects under development in the municipality of Santarém. The visit began at Escola Superior Agrária where the future facilities of the Center for Valorization and Transfer of Agro-Food Technology were presented by the President of the Polytechnic of Santarem, João Motão, and the Director of ESAS, Margarida Oliveira, with the President of the City Council of Santarem, Ricardo Gonçalves, and the Vice-President, João Teixeira. Leite and council members Nuno Russo and Diogo Gomez. They also visited the future facilities of the College of Regents, which will receive 75 new beds for new students, and the São Pedro housing facilities, on the occasion of which they also visited Cricket Farming and the R&D unit of Entogreen and its bioindustrial unit.
