Scarlett Johansson is pregnant

Colin Jost, husband of Scarlett Johansson, revealed in a stand-up comedy that the actress is pregnant with the couple’s first child, confirming rumors in the international press that the actress was pregnant.

According to the Big Six online newspaper, Colin Jost, during a presentation he was giving at Ridgefield Playhouse, Connecticut, USA, stated that the couple is expecting a baby. And this seems to confirm the rumors published by the newspaper in July when it announced the actress’s pregnancy.

Rumors started to surface when Scarlett Johansson failed to appear in several promotional events for the actress’ new movie ‘Black Widow’. A newspaper source revealed, “She hasn’t done a lot of interviews or events to promote the movie, which is surprising considering it’s a major Marvel/Disney release and she’s the star and executive producer.”

The actress only appeared in virtual interviews on “The Tonight Show” with Jimmy Fallon and on the Seth Meyers Show.

This is not Scarlett Johansson’s first child. The actress has a six-year-old daughter Rose from a previous marriage to French journalist Romain Dauriac. The actress remarried in October 2020 to comedian Colin Jost, after three years of dating.

Scarlett Johansson is already aiming to return to the big screen after becoming a mother. According to the Hollywood Reporter, the actress will sign a contract for a new film directed by Wes Anderson, starring Margot Robbie, Tom Hanks, Adrien Brody, Bill Murray, Jason Schwartzman and Tilda Swinton.

The actress also sued Disney for alleged breach of contract after the production company released “Black Widow” on the streaming platform, which could affect the actress’ salary as it depends on box office revenue in cinemas.
