The holding company that controls Navigator and Secil saw shareholders approve, at the General Assembly on Friday, a proposal for a total dividend of 0.626 euros per share, based on 2023 results.

These illiquid profits represent a decrease of 34.1% compared to the €0.95 distributed last year (on account of 2022), and are due to lower profits in 2023. The paying agent is the Banque Centrale Populaire.

The company, led by Ricardo Perez, ended Friday's session with an increase of 0.86% to 16.44 euros. Taking this closing price into account, the proposed dividend of €0.626 per share corresponds to a dividend yield of 3.80%.

In the statement Semapa, published with the CMVM, also states that dividends will begin to be paid on June 12, with shares not being entitled to this bonus from the (plenary) session on June 10.

The value of the bonuses to shareholders is approximately 50 million euros.

Semapa recorded net profits of €244.5 million in 2023, a value that represents a 20.4% decrease compared to the €307.1 million obtained in the previous year.
