ChatGPT gained more popularity just a few months ago and is currently being used by thousands of people all over the world. However, the security of the OpenAI service appears to have been compromised, as data from 100,000 accounts recently appeared on the Darknet.

No one can control the integration of artificial intelligence into the various activities of today. With the advancement in this sector, it is imperative that the services and products that are part of this market enhance their security well to protect the data of their users.

However, there is always less positive news in this area and the latest Information Uncovered by security firm Group-IB, data from around 100,000 accounts of popular AI system ChatGPT has now surfaced on the Darknet. Specifically, it was the data of 101,134 accounts that were exposed on the mysterious internet platform.

This then counts as a big data show, especially since there will be a lot of professional information among them as well.

The details reveal that this data was obtained through Trojans and, according to Group-IB, not many of the identified victims were targeted. As such, presumably, the goal was then to infect as many accounts as possible based on the phishing attacks.

For those who don't know, ChatGPT, created by OpenAI, is an artificial intelligence system capable of talking to users, in addition to executing commands given to it. It is a service that is widely used for various purposes, such as academics, programming, problem solving, clarifying doubts, providing information, among others.
