wIan Keating, the older brother of singer Ronan Keating, died last Saturday after two cars collided in County Mayo, Ireland.
And the BBC revealed that the accident occurred at around 3:35 pm. Kieran was traveling with his wife, Anne-Marie – who is injured, but her life is not in danger.
The season progresses though as both of them were on their way to the place where their son Ruairi will play football.
The youngster plays for Cork City Football Club and the club paid tribute to Ciaran on social media on Sunday. “Cork City Football Club deeply regrets the passing of Ciaran Keating, father of our player Ruiri Keating. Our deepest condolences go out to Ruiri and the entire Keating family at this very difficult time.”
The club further requested that the family’s privacy be “respected at this difficult time”, with funeral arrangements “confirmed in due course”.
