Sony announces State of Play for this Wednesday; what are you expecting

Sony announced that it will be held Playing status Next Wednesday (31). The online event will start at 7pm (Brasilia time) and last approximately 40 minutes.

During the broadcast, the company promised to bring a series of news about more than fifteen games, including more detailed presentations of “Stellar Blade” and “Rise of the Ronin,” in addition to the participation of some prominent developers in the gaming industry.

The Japanese giant's announcement comes after some leaks revealed that the company is preparing for its first gaming event at the beginning of this year.

What to expect from the event?

Unofficial information also indicates that during the broadcast, Konami may bring news about the remake of “Silent Hill 2”, a title scheduled for release this year. What's not yet clear is whether the company will release the official debut date or more gameplay details (both) during the State of Play.

Another highlight is “Death Stranding 2,” a long-awaited release from Kojima Productions. Fans of the game hope that the full title of the second part, which has already been leaked, will be officially revealed during the event.

For now, Death Stranding 2 – On The Beach is still popular. However, what gives weight to the supposed leak is that the source has a history of publishing accurate information about the gaming industry previously. In fact, it was Billbill-kun himself who predicted Sony's intention to hold State of Play at the beginning of the year.

On the other hand, news about “Final Fantasy VII Rebirth” and the remaster of “Until Dawn” are also expected.

Finally, the list also includes a new PlayStation exclusive: “Concord.” Despite being announced last year, no trailer or gameplay has been released for the game yet.
