Published on

Only a few weeks have passed since Sony’s intentions to launch a new smartphone from the Xperia line to the market became known. Although the brand is not, specifically, one of the strongest in the sector, they aim to bet everything with the Xperia 1 IV.

Although not much is known about it yet, Sony recently released some details about this futuristic device, in a video shared on the social network. Weibo. In the video, the company appears to confirm that the new device will be released on May 11.

The video shows Pierre T. Lambert, a photographer and YouTuber known for his involvement in the development of other smartphones, more specifically his camera system, providing useful information.

Lambert says that the sensor of the new Sony equipment will have high dimensions, allowing for capturing high-quality content in the most diverse scenarios.

Unfortunately, the video doesn’t reveal details about what we can expect from this sensor, but rumors suggest that the Xperia 1 IV should have a 48MP main sensor, accompanied by a 48MP wide-angle lens.

The device should also have a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, along with up to 16GB of RAM, 512GB of internal storage and a 6.5-inch screen at 120Hz. It is also expected to have a 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging.
