Sporting ‘strongly’ condemns attacks on Greece fans at Joao Rocha’s winger – handball

Sporting expressed in a statement its condemnation of The accidents happened this Tuesday After the Lions handball team duel, against the Greeks of AEK HC, referring to the European League. In a press statement, Al-Faladi Club strongly condemns this episode and affirms that it will “provide all necessary support to the competent authorities to investigate the responsibilities.”

What should have been a night celebrating another Leonino success, unfortunately ended in violent incidents near Joao Rocha’s stand.

A group of ten Greek fans, who traveled to Lisbon to support their team, were attacked after leaving the stadium by a group of other fans, and were later protected inside the pavilion.

The Sports Communist Party strongly condemns this incident and will provide all necessary support to the relevant authorities until the responsibilities are determined. The club denies these behaviors that go against what is its belief in how to live and sport.”
