The final tribute was held in the Church of Nossa Senhora do Cabo, in Leyenda Avila, in the presence of dozens of family members and friends.
The ex-wife of the failed broadcaster, Barbara Elias, who is the mother of two of Nuno Graciano’s children, also attended the celebrations. The former model was visibly emotional and was comforted by many in attendance. Outside the church, loved ones of the former TV presenter (who worked at SIC, TVI, CMTV and Channel 11) made no secret of their pain and tears before the body was sent to Carnaxside Cemetery.
They recalled that the broadcaster, who was also a businessman and even entered politics, spent three days in hospital, with a poor prognosis, due to a stroke, before he died. He left four children – Gonzalo, Tomás, Matilda and Maria – his greatest “loved ones”. This is actually how he described his children in his last post on social media.
