Tesla. Workers sleep in the factory and work 12-hour shifts
Factory officials will prepare facilities for workers to bathe and have leisure time.
Tesla workers will sleep inside the factory in Shanghai in an attempt to make up for the three-week period during which the company was forced to close due to the outbreak of the Corona virus.
According to Bloomberg, each worker was given a sleeping bag and mattress to sleep in designated areas of the factory floor. Officials will also prepare facilities for employees to shower and spend their leisure time.
In addition to adapting the facilities, Tesla has also changed employee hours, each working 12 hours a day, for six consecutive days.
It should be noted that workers in that factory must be vaccinated with two doses of the emerging coronavirus vaccine, and subjected to daily tests during the first three days to get rid of the virus.
