The Portuguese Football League and the Portuguese Football Association conducted, at noon today, Wednesday, the play-off draw to reach the Bowen League and La Liga Subsig for the 2023/24 season. The matches that end this season, as it was previously known, will be played on June 3 and 11.

Given the dispute regarding the permanence/access to/from Liga Bwin, the first match will be at the home ground of the third-placed Liga Sabseg team, while the second match will normally take place in Liga Bwin’s 16th place. On the other hand, with regard to the Liga Sabseg play-off match, the first leg will be at the home of the winner of the Liga 3 qualifiers and the second at the stadium of the 16th-placed Liga Sabseg.

At the moment, Santa Clara, P. Ferreira and Marítimo are fighting for the playoff spot in League One, with none of the three clubs standing any chance of getting a direct hold (Madeira’s side is in the top spot at this point). For their part, in the second league, Farense and E Amadora know that one of them will get a direct promotion and the other will have to play in the play-offs for promotion, and at the moment the Algarve has three points. above the amateur group.

Still in the second level, Leixes, Nacional, B SAD, Trofense and Sp. Covilhã may still be 16th and have to play in the playoffs to stay in professional competition.
