The government gives ANA four months to deliver business projects at Lisbon Airport

The government is asking ANA to adopt a set of measures to “ease operational constraints at Humberto Delgado Airport” and the works must be completed by 2027.

The government gives ANA 120 days to submit projects to fulfill development commitments set at Lisbon Airport, whose work must be completed by 2027, according to a decision published today in Diário da República.

The Cabinet Decision sets out “the adoption of a package of measures to mitigate operational constraints at Humberto Delgado Airport” and states that “within 120 days”, the ANA must submit “to the Member of Government responsible for the field of infrastructure projects related to the fulfillment of specific development commitments 13 and 14 And 17.”

It also concerns the obligatory construction of “multiple entrances on runway 21 (currently 20)”, which was initially scheduled to be completed between 2018 and 2021, but a new deadline was set for its completion between 2025 and 2027, in addition to the “confiscation of warehouses.” In the multi-entrance area of ​​Runway 21 (currently 20), which was also supposed to be built between 2018 and 2021, and which now has a new implementation deadline of 2024-2025.
