The Great Fear Machine, and suddenly fear went global

There are many strategy games that deal with the topic of global domination. Whether through politics, military actions, or economics, the examples are many and varied. Coming soon is a new game, The Fabulous Fear Machine, which tackles fear and the use of dark maneuvers.

The Fabulous Fear Machine is a game developed by the Spanish studio Fictiorama Studios that can present itself as a very good surprise.
It's a strategy game that presents its narrative as the main point of interest, more than its cartoonish look and use of the card system.

The Fabulous Fear Machine is a single-player game whose gameplay is based on a story as strong and intense as it is bizarre.
The player takes on the role of the 'Master of the Machine', a mysterious system of dark forces that can grant him all power and fulfill all his desires but... at a price.

Using weapons such as urban legends, dark folklore stories, or local legends, the player will spread fear and insecurity across the world, holding people hostage to their fears.  You will have at your disposal a group of assistants, called agents, who will propagate these concerns.
From creating their own legends and plots, spreading terror and fear across the planet, gathering important resources for the machine to keep functioning, manipulating events or spying on enemies, the player will have a wide range of missions and interests to control.  This is if you really want to become a "Master of the Machine".

Everything happens through a card system that provides the game with more strategic and tactical mechanics, as well as relaxing ones.

The game, which now has an official release date, recently saw the arrival of a new trailer, narrated by the game's first campaign heroine, Jane Hammond.
Jane is a scientist and industrial entrepreneur who has become the dangerous mastermind of evil.  In the demo, Jane introduces and explains to players some of the simplest mechanics of the game, showing how she's been able to expand her influence a bit around the world.
As Jane's dominance grows, so does the pressure from her two main competitors.  Jane will have to fight them in every possible way, and fear seems like the perfect weapon.
According to those responsible for The Fabulous Fear Machine, the game will contain several random events that will occur randomly and that may have the power to completely change the player's plans, forcing him to completely redo his strategy.

Fans of horror and urban legends are sure to enjoy The Fabulous Fear Machine.  At least that's the perspective of Fictiorama Studios.

The Fabulous Fear Machine will be released on October 4th for PC.
