Themed exhibitions, physics demonstrations, a journey through the world of astronomy and astronautics, amazing workshops and lots of fun and learning await you at the Centers of Science, Education and Culture of Vitoria (CCEC). These are the final days of the special holiday program, which is free and runs until January 31.

The Faculty of Science, Biology and History, the Faculty of Physics, the Innovation School, the Planetarium and the Science Park offer various activities for all ages and without the need for prior reservation. The spaces allow visitors to discover that it can be very interesting to learn about the history of our city, visit aquariums, learn physics and mathematics concepts practically or even embark on a journey to learn more about the universe we live in.

“The program has been designed with great care and offers fun and magic for the whole family. We invite everyone to join us in these last days of special holiday programs at CCEC. Bring your family and friends and take advantage of this unique opportunity to combine fun and knowledge,” said Elian Marques, Director of CCEC in Vitoria. .

Tuesday through Friday, with guided tours at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., and workshops at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.

  • Wednesday: Treasures from the Bottom of the Sea (Crafts)
  • Fridays: African Culture: Do You Know Adinkra? Production of refrigerator magnets with African symbols.

The program continues in full swing, with interactive sessions and film screenings. Bring your whole family to travel around the universe and enjoy astronomy and space navigation! With a seating capacity of 60, access to sessions is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Hours: Tuesday through Friday, with sessions at 3:30pm and 4:15pm; 5pm and 5:45pm; 6:30 pm and 7 pm.

Where is it: Avenida Fernando Ferrari, 514, inside the Guayaberas Campus of the Federal University of Espirito Santo.

  • 10 to 11 a.m.: IFES Physics Show: A stunning presentation led by an IFES team of physicists;
