These days, the partnership between Xiaomi and Leica celebrates the launch of the “See The World In A New Light” concept, integrated into the Xiaomi Master Class series. The collaboration combines Xiaomi technology with Leica optics. It gives photography enthusiasts a chance to explore the beauty of the world through the lens of the new Xiaomi 14 series.
Recently, at two major sessions held in Madrid and Valencia, participants from diverse backgrounds had the opportunity to learn from some of the world's most respected photographers. They included Maurice Biehl, who specializes in street photography, Javier Corso, who focuses on portraits, and Roy Kariya, known for his documentaries.
Capturing “fragments of raw emotions and moments” through photography
During the event, Lei Jun, founder, president and CEO of Xiaomi, highlighted the company's commitment to capturing “bits of raw emotions and moments” through photography.
“In this season of the Xiaomi Master Class supported by Leica, our goal is to draw attention to what is not always obvious at first glance. Let us see the world from a new perspective and feel the words that Xiaomi InSight aspires to rely on” a visual way. Let's see the world from a new perspective with Xiaomi,” explained Lei Jun.
Leica's Kai Platke reinforced this vision when commenting on the partnership: “By joining forces with Xiaomi, we are excited to bring our experience to a wider audience, inspiring them to explore new horizons and discover the beauty of the world through the lens of the Xiaomi 14 series.”
The Xiaomi Master Class is the beginning of a series of workshops within the framework of the “Story in Sight” project. The first episode of the series, which will be released in Portugal on April 18, stars photographer Leica Rui Caría. This episode will delve into Portuguese traditions and culture. It will give a unique and deep-rooted perspective on national identity through the lens of Xiaomi 14 Ultra.
