The pilot's message 'everyone' gives a chill

The pilot’s message ‘everyone’ gives a chill

In March last year, the world went into lockdown due to the Corona pandemic.

Before a Delta Airlines plane, like many others, was parked at Victorville Airport in the California desert, pilot Chris Dennis wrote a letter that stirred strong emotions.

According to the airline, Chris Dennis believed at the time that he would face Corona arrest in his daily work in about two weeks.

Instead, the plane was left on the ground for 435 days.

The message was recently found by another pilot who was going to start the plane again.

One thing he wasn’t expecting to find was Chris’ message, Delta Airlines wrote Facebook social networking site.

At the time of writing, the post has garnered 9,200 likes and hundreds of comments.

Light at the end of the tunnel

This is what Chris Dennis wrote on March 23, 2020:

“Hello, pilot. It’s March 23 and we’ve just arrived from MSP (Minneapolis-St Paul International Airport, Anm Magazine). It gets cold down my spine when I see a large percentage of our planes parked here in the desert. If you’re here to catch the plane, that means That there must be a light at the end of the tunnel. It’s amazing how quickly it has changed. I wish you a safe flight to whoever takes the plane from the warehouse.”

Delta Air Lines posted the message on its Facebook page, and at the time of writing, the post has garnered 9,300 likes and nearly 500 comments.

In a Facebook post, the airline wrote that the message embodies the sentiment many felt in March 2020.

These 57 words, depicting so much uncertainty and feelings we all had in March 2020, underscore the seriousness of this particular journey, they wrote.

The story made me cry

In the comments section, there are many who say they got goosebumps and goosebumps from reading the message.

– That really sums up how insecure we all felt and felt in March 2020. I got goosebumps from this message, one of the comments.

– Goosebumps, you must be safe. Another person writes that seeing so many Delta planes stored in BHM was a constant reminder of the world we live in.

Many of them share their stories of what they did right before the world shut down.

– This story made me cry, and an employee of the plane wrote and told me that she worked when the crew heard that France was closed and that this was their last flight – and perhaps also their last paycheck.

Back to Complaints

Another sign that the world has reopened is that disappointed plane passengers are back in the comments section.

– I’m glad you’re flying again. Now you just have to answer your phones so we can change the ticket you changed, which can’t be changed without a human. Please write one in the comments section below the message.
