The new advanced training will have 30 seats and will be offered at the Higher School of Business Sciences

The new Master’s Program in Corporate Data Science has applications open until October 13th. The new advanced training will be offered at the Escola Superior de Ciências Empresariais (ESCE / IPS), from January 2023. The course will provide thirty places in this first edition, in an effort to respond to the needs of the labor market in this professional field while taking into account new trends in the global economy.

This new training is funded under the Resilience and Recovery (PRR) scheme, and is aligned with the curricular structure of the European Academy of Data Science, as well as with the needs of the business community, with the aim of providing students with the skills that allow them to do so. Enriching the decision-making process in various sectors, with the consequent return of benefits to the business.

According to the Polytechnic Institute, this new Master in Corporate Data Science is based on “outstanding practical and applied” teaching, lasting six quarters (90 ECTS), in Learning System B. This training combines in its study plan the scientific areas of information systems management, information technologies and quantitative methods, and also provides “participation of partner entities proposing to share knowledge, innovation and effective business vision, facilitating an approach to the business market”.

In the field of Business Science, IPS also sets the application deadline for a new postgraduate course in Business and Business Finance, which “intends to provide trainees with knowledge and skills related to business development and to assessing creativity and financial value in organizations, in light of the current business context, characterized by Constant change and global competition. IPS is also opening vacancies for the third edition of the Postgraduate Course in Public Accounting, for which applications will be extended until 10 October.
