The Science Caravan arrives at the La Marca Sports and Entertainment Complex

Attention, audiences of all ages! The Science Caravan arrived at the La Marca Sports and Entertainment Complex in Raiz da Serra, on Tuesday (7). This measure, promoted by Cecierj in partnership with the state government of Rio de Janeiro and the city of Magi, will remain on site until November 9, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The space combines dynamic and interactive science experiments, as well as games, gyroscopes and an inflatable planetarium with space orbit simulation.

For Deputy Mayor Jamil Cozolino, the presence of the inflatable planetarium is a historic event for the municipality. He said: “It is a historic day because we provide these distinctive experiences to our students, who gain knowledge and practically apply what they learn in the classroom.”

“It is a different moment for our students, and for many of them it is the first time. Our city has received these amazing experiences and I am very grateful that we are offering this moment to our students,” stated Education Secretary Sandra Ramaldo.

Cecierj’s Vice President of Science, Regia Beatriz Santos, celebrated the presence of the event in Magé. “It is a pleasure to be here in Magi Municipality, in a very fruitful partnership. Our students are enjoying amazing activities that will make a difference in their knowledge.

On the first day, about 400 students from the schools EM Gandur Assed, EM Professor Daniel Soares Silva, EM Bruno Rodrigues and EM Profª Renata Franco Pereira attended and approved the experiments.

“I really liked the experiences, and even more so, the planetarium, because it’s really cool and there are people who don’t have the means to participate,” said student Lorena Loureiro.
