The Brusk Department of Health promotes warning to the community about the change in operating hours for the city’s respiratory symptom triage center. From Monday (5) the examination center will be open from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM from Monday to Friday and from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. Installed in the Pavilion of Fenarreco, this place is dedicated to the care of people with flu-like symptoms who may be affected by the coronavirus.

Also from Monday (5), the basic health units in Limeira and Jardim Maluche will again operate as the family health strategy. With this, they will follow the normal business hours of all UBS, available to their communities from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Since March of this year, the two units have been serving residents from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, as emergency care for light emergencies, in order to ease the flow of emergency at Azambuja Hospital.

The changes come in light of the state’s expectations that all Santa Catarina residents will be vaccinated with the first dose of the vaccine against the Corona virus by the end of August. It is the first step in the gradual closure program of the covid-19 service structure in Brusque, based on vaccination targets for priority groups being achieved.
