It was only a matter of time before the first accident involving a Cybertruck in a real-world scenario showed just how difficult it can be. Passengers were amazed at the damage to the Toyota Corolla compared to what was reported on the Tesla pickup. Pictures are helpful.

Elon Musk's new Cybertruck looks like a futuristic combat vehicle.  Last Thursday, it proved that it also has the resistance of an armored vehicle.
A Tesla electric car collided with a Toyota Corolla in the US state of California, and emerged almost intact, only sustaining some dents and scratches on the car's body.  On the other hand, the Japanese car suffered a severely damaged front end.  The drivers and passengers of the two cars were not injured.

The California Highway Patrol told The Verge that the accident occurred on a road in Palo Alto.  The 17-year-old driver of the Corolla turned right and struck a small pile of dirt on the side of the road.  In order to correct his course, the young man turned sharply to the left and entered the oncoming lane, where he collided with a Tesla car that was carrying three passengers.
The Cybertruck driver suffered minor injuries, but refused medical attention.  The police informed the American website that there was no evidence that the car was operating on autopilot at the time of the accident.  Conditions on the road were cloudy and wet, but officers do not know if that affected the collision.
