nNext October 31, the Spanish Crown Princess will celebrate her eighteenth birthday. After swearing an oath to the constitution before the General Cortés, El Pardo Palace will be the stage for Leonor’s birthday party. Invitations have already been sent.
Sources close to the palace revealed to Vanitatis some of the people who had previously confirmed their presence at this party, and some of the names are surprising.
It is known that King Felipe VI’s relationship with his sisters, Infantas Elena and Cristina, is not the closest, and that his relationship with his father, King Emeritus Juan Carlos, could not be more distant. However, everyone will be present on this special day for the princess.
“After the official session and the event that will take place in the Royal Palace of Madrid, a family meeting will be held in the El Pardo Palace. In addition to the Kings, the Princess and Infanta Sofía, the Kings Juan Carlos and Sofía, the infants Elena and Cristina, their children and the family of Queen Letizia,” says the same source.
However, it is possible that some of the infants – Juan Froilan and Victoria Federica (children of Infanta Elena) and Juan, Pablo, Miguel and Irene (children of Infanta Cristina) – may not be able to attend due to professional commitments.
