Wagner’s boss Yevgeny Prigozhin has long demanded more ammunition from the Kremlin for his forces in Ukraine. It does not seem that he will get it, Prigozhin himself must be believed.
– To get me to stop asking for ammunition, all telephone lines to offices, departments, etc. were cut off from me. But the real blow is that they also prevented the agencies from making decisions (related to Wagner), Prigozhin wrote on Telegram, according to The Independent.
The relationship between the leader of the Russian mercenary group and the official Russian army did not appear to be particularly good.
On Sunday, he criticized the military leadership for the promised lack of ammunition.
– At the moment we are trying to find out the reason: is it just ordinary bureaucracy or treason? Prigozhin said.
On Monday, he claimed, the mercenary group was denied access to the Russian military command in Ukraine.
– On March 6 at 08:00 my representative at the headquarters canceled the entry card, he wrote on Telegram, indicated by Reuters.
Prigozhin has repeatedly come out harshly against the Russian defense command and generals. Last month, among other things, he accused Defense Minister Serge Sogou of “treason” – again for withholding ammunition from Wagner.
