The week starts with (much) cheaper fuel. Know how much you will save

If you have until this Monday to fill up your tank, you’ll see that you’ve made the right decision: that’s because, starting this week, the price of fuel is going to suffer a ‘down’. A source from one of the major national oil companies told “Multinews”: “The evolution of price quotations in euros indicates a price depreciation of 7 cents per liter in 95-octane petrol, while a liter of diesel should decline by 9.5 cents.”

Prices for service stations adjacent to the hypermarket will follow the market trend, with “a sharp decline of 0.0585 euros in petrol, a repeating trend in diesel, with a similar sharp decline of 0.0816 euros,” another source provided.

So, starting today, filling a tank with 60 liters of petrol will cost 4.2 euros less. The diesel tank freight bill will be 5.7€ cheaper.

The past few weeks have seen fuel prices drop, with petrol and diesel already selling at pre-war prices in Ukraine.

Despite the government’s decision, last week, to reduce the Internet Service Provider’s discount, which canceled out the declines in recent weeks, as of Monday, Fuel is resuming the path of lower prices.

Pay attention: the 95th petrol was, in the last two months, 1,889 euros per liter, as of this week, 1,585 euros, which is equivalent to saying that filling a tank with 60 liters was 18.24 euros cheaper. On the other hand, diesel has experienced a sharp decline in the same period: nine consecutive weeks of price declines, which rose from 1.959 euros / liter to 1.513 euros in the same period, reduced the bill for a 60-liter tank by 26.76. euro.
