There are already graphic cards in Europe that are 23% lower than recommended

In addition to component shortages caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, which has led to a shortage of GPUs in stores, exaggeratedly high prices, due to the law of supply and demand, have made purchasing graphics chips a thank-you.

But, fortunately, this situation seems to be resolved and outdated because, according to the latest information, in Europe we can already find graphics cards on sale worth 23% less than recommended by the brands on the launch date.

Graphics card prices keep dropping
According to the latest data revealed by the German website 3DCenterThe prices of graphics cards continue to drop, thus relieving all the consumers who have been waiting for this information to proceed with the purchase of this device.
The released details show that, on average, all AMD Radeon RX 6000 graphics cards are priced 8% below the brand's initially recommended price.  In contrast, the average price of Nvidia GeForce RTX 30 GPUs is only 2% higher than their price on the release date.
For the sake of comparison, in Beginning of May 2022The average price of AMD GPUs is up 7% and that of Nvidia is up 13%. In the case of AMD, the average is mainly conditioned by the value of the Radeon RX 6500 XT model, which is 23% lower than the recommended price.  The Radeon RX 6600 price is reduced by 20%, followed by the Radeon RX 6950 XT with a 16% lower value.  But there are examples where the opposite is true, such as the Radeon RX 6800 and RX 6800 XT, which cost 6% and 3% more, respectively.

On the Nvidia side, the cheapest models are the GeForce RTX 3090 Ti, 16% lower;  GeForce RTX 3080 Ti (-13%);  GeForce RTX 3090 (~8%);  and 12 GB GeForce RTX 3080 (-2%).  Still high in value, we have the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti (+17%), the GeForce RTX 3050 (+13%) and the GeForce RTX 3060 (+11%).
