andThere is a fruit that surprises us not only with its exotic flavor but also with its nutritional value. We are talking about tamarind. A study published in the Asia Pacific Journal of Tropical Biomedicine, cited by Metropolis, revealed that it is rich in essential amino acids and phytochemicals, with antidiabetic, antimicrobial, antiasthmatic, anti-inflammatory and laxative properties.
