For the expert, there are pros and cons. “It saves time, it saves water,” but it can pose “health risks,” because urine can carry bacteria.
Although the risk is low, “the urine is not completely free of bacteria,” the doctor warns.

On the other hand, “there are also instances of problems where you end up wanting to urinate when you hear the sound of running water, like when you're in the bathroom,” he explained. “However, if you do it occasionally and it's not a habit, the risk is very low,” he added.
