“It wasn’t a positive performance. I’m happy to be in the third Olympics, but I wish I had done a little more, to shoot a little more. I’m not happy with that 57m, but I did my best and couldn’t do it anymore” , pointed out the 30-year-old natural pitcher from Leiria.
Irina Rodriguez was far from the 63.96 she has as a personal record, in a competition where she canceled the first throw and then hit 54.60 and 57.03 metres, giving her 11th in Group A, which she will miss the final. When second set shooters perform better.
