Treatment control is still in the planning stage

Finnish Remedy Entertainment shared its latest financial report and informed investors that the plan remains to launch Alan Wake 2 in 2023, although it still has a lot to do with the project.

In addition to sharing this update about the status of Alan Wake 2, Remedy has also released updates about the status of several other projects, including the episodic control.

Codename Condor is a multiplayer PvE game set in the console world and developed for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and PC. Condor is powered by the Northlight Engine and will allow cooperative play for four players.

At the moment, Condor is in the concept testing phase, during which the team is experimenting and identifying the main mechanisms that will sustain the project and will be the core of the project. After completing the main pillars of Condor, the project will move to the next stage.

Codename Hero is a “bigger budget” control and is also in this concept testing phase. The initial development process is going well and the team is gradually increasing in size. Volume will remain moderate in this prototyping stage.

Remedy also talked about Vanguard, a free multiplayer co-op developed in collaboration with Tencent. Vanguard uses the Unreal Engine and is a service game in a testing phase of key concepts.

Only in 2023 will Remedy expand the Vanguard team, so we still have a long wait for that title.
