Trinity Trigger (Switch) launches in the West on April 25th

XSEED Games has announced the western release date for Trinity trigger. The RPG developed by Three Rings in partnership with FuRyu will be released for Switch, PS4, PS5 and PC on April 25th.

Trinity Trigger includes in its development team such important personalities as:

  • “Universal Designer” Yuki Nobuteru, character designer on Trials of Mana (SNES), Chrono Cross (PS), and Solatorobo: Red the Hunter (DS);
  • Character designer Raita Kazama, from Stranger of Sword City (Multi) who has already made some contributions to the Xenoblade Chronicles series;
  • Screenwriter Yura Kubota, from Octopath Traveler (Multi), Bravely Default II (Switch/PC);
  • Composer Hiroki Kikuta, from Secret of Mana (SNES), Trials of Mana (SNES) and Koudelka (PS).

The game is described by the company as follows:

Trinity Trigger is a new RPG that combines the look and feel of popular 90’s RPGs with an emphasis on fast-paced, customizable combat. Players control three young warriors trying to defy fate and save the continent of Trinita. They are accompanied by Triggers, strange creatures with the unique ability to transform into eight types of weapons that players must master if they hope to succeed in their mission. Whether playing alone or with up to two friends via local co-op, explore diverse biomes and dungeons, scheme to exploit enemy weaknesses and change your own destiny!
