Ubisoft doesn’t think physical gaming media will die out

Recently, a debate has arisen about the end of physical media. Although collectors were concerned about this possibility, Ubisoft He thinks this won’t happen. In a question and answer session, Chris Earlyfrom Ubisoft, said the following:

“There’s a market for collector’s editions. There’s the gifting aspect of physical items and allowing people to easily buy a game from a store and gift it to their friends or family. Some people will always want the physical disc. I just don’t think it’s going to go away. I think physical media sales might go down “Over time, of course, but will it disappear completely? I don’t think it will.”
