Ukraine reports massive cyber attack – VG

Several ministries have reported problems with the site, including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Education. According to Reuters, many sites are temporarily down.

It was not known who was behind the attack, and so far, there are not many details about the attack.

Several reporters shared screenshots on Twitter with a message posted on several ministry websites.

– Be careful! The letter stated that it would only get worse. Messages must be in Ukrainian, Polish and Russian, the NTB writes.

It is too early to conclude anything about the attack, but historically there have been a large number of cyberattacks against Ukraine from Russia, says Oleh Nikolenko, a spokesman for the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, according to Reuters.

The border between Ukraine and Russia is currently tense. It was the last few weeks series of meetings Between NATO and the United States, Ukraine and Russia to calm the situation. So far, meetings and talks have not progressed.
