Betim Vacimovil City Hall continues, in September, to update the vaccination status for students and employees of the municipal education network. The aim is to expand vaccination coverage among children and adolescents aged 9 to 15 years. In the first 15 days of the month, six schools will be visited. Since the start of education services in July this year, 21 schools have been visited and 2,208 doses of vaccines have been administered.
The available vaccines are: against the human papilloma virus; against meningitis (meningococcal ACWY); against diphtheria and tetanus (double adult dt); And against covid-19. Teachers and other school personnel will also be able to get vaccinated against coronavirus (bivalent) and influenza. All vaccinations included in the national immunization calendar are also available at the 38 basic health units (UBSs) in the municipality.
On the day of vaccination, the student must bring the authorization signed by the parents or guardians and the vaccination card. Professionals must present an identity document with a photo as well as a vaccination card.
