Our children learn from the technologies and benefits of science from an early age. Viana City Hall, through the Ministry of Education (SEMED), promotes Science and Technology Week for Children in Early Childhood Education. The event aims to enrich learning and stimulate the curiosity of young people from an early age, and seeks to provide experiences in the world of science and technology.
With this, the masters at CMEI Calypio Siqueira Rocha brought RGB which is an array of three encapsulated LEDs, each of a different color: red, green and blue. The goal is to show the illumination of digital screens and the colors they transform. And the children were able to develop this, and discover colored lighting in order to reach the development of digital photography.
In addition, the teachers responsible for the initiative focus on showing how this knowledge is present in everyday life, sparking curiosity and encouraging questions, explained Principal Priscilla Carneiro.
“Science and Technology Week was a challenging project for us. However, we were able to implement and impart various knowledge to the students. This is a reflection of our commitment to quality education. We want to spark curiosity and encourage thinking in a new way about the world, preparing our children for an increasingly technological and innovative future.”
During this special week, educational institutions in the municipal network produce a series of educational activities. Children have the opportunity to immerse themselves in a world of discovery, exploring basic science and technology concepts in a fun and creative way.
The Science and Technology Week for Early Childhood Education in the city provides rich and stimulating experiences, and the initiative contributes to the formation of citizens who are aware and ready to face the challenges of the contemporary world.
