Video: Benzema defeats Ronaldo and Messi starts in Spain

Karim Benzema, 33, is better than ever. The French striker, who ended his 13th season in Real Madrid, set a new record in participating in the scoring efforts in the first six matches of the Spanish championship, today, Wednesday, by defeating Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.

Real Madrid’s defeat against Mallorca (6-1)Benzema scored two goals and assisted two goals. Thus, he has so far scored eight goals and seven assists in the competition, with a total of 15 offensive moves with a decisive intervention, surpassing the records of Ronaldo in the 2014/15 season (14: 13 goals and one assist) and Messi. In the 2010/11 season (13: 8 goals and 5 assists).

Marco Anencio, born in Palma and revealed by Mallorca, was the other great character in the match, completing a hat-trick against the team of his heart.

In between, Lee Kang-in scored the honor goal for the visiting team. Isco, already in the 84th minute, determined the final result.

Midfielder on loan to Sporting, Rodrigo Battaglia was a full-time key player in Mallorca’s defeat.

Real Madrid leads the Spanish League with 16 points, while Mallorca is tenth with eight points.
