This evening, Vizela issued a statement revealing that he had been notified by Liga Portugal to postpone the match with a sad Belenenses, in the next round of the Spanish Football First Division. Minho continues to criticize the blues, but also criticizes the health authorities.

Contacted earlier this evening via email sent by Liga Portugal, FC Vizela, SAD, must inform all of its partners that it has been notified that the match between FC Vizela and Belenenses SAD has been postponed by a decision of Liga Portugal, following an ‘explicit indication’ By the coordinator of the health delegates of ACES Lisboa Ocidental and Oeiras Médica de Saúde Pública “that all Belenenses SAD subjects are in protective isolation at home between 11/27/2021 and 12/10/2021.

After a highly suspicious operation, either FC Vizela or SAD:

1 – We regret the fact that at no time did Belenenses SAD contact FC Vizela, formally or informally, to request a match postponement or express any kind of embarrassment.

2- To find a strange decision of the coordinator of the health delegate of ACES Lisboa Ocidental and Oeiras Médica de Saúde Pública and to question the change in a general criterion of isolation by positive test, different from isolation by contact, something that indicates a lapse in interpretation or indicates an adaptation of a health policy in force until now.

3- The indication of a communication from ACES does not fully correspond to the truth, since not all elements of the SAD Belenenses have been isolated since 11/27, information that is belied by the history of the Belenenses SAD-SL Benfica

4 – The question of the number of days that players from other sports associations who were recently tested positive will remain in isolation and demand that the same procedure be applied to all cases, without any exception that threatens the seriousness of the competition.

5 – Remember that professional competition between associations/clubs with the same rights and duties must not navigate different decisions for identical positions, under pain of not maintaining the same sporting truth.

In response to Liga Portugal, this company requested this and other clarifications, showing that it is as cooperative as possible, always defending its interests and the fairness of competition, without undermining public health.
