Retired First Lieutenant Arne Bord Dahlhogue told Dagbladet that the attacks that took place are a continuation of what has been seen in recent weeks.

The Russians have seen a retreat on the slopes, while at the same time intensifying their attacks against civilian areas in Ukraine — civilian infrastructure, electricity, and other important targets that have a direct impact on the civilian population, says Dahlhog.

He adds that this causes great suffering to the civilian population.

– It is direct war criminal behavior on the Russian side, he says.

Dallhog maintains that these attacks did not have a negative impact on the fighting on the ground for Ukraine.

Dallhog says that the latter is now the most important and most interesting region in terms of the development of the war. The Russians began to withdraw the forces that were on the western side of the Donbass.

Dallhog says he doesn’t think there is much chance of Russian forces withdrawing from the area, without incurring significant losses both in soldiers and materials.
